Meet Elvis. Elvis is very attached to humans and it loves attention. As soon as you walk towards it, it starts to purr. The purring gets very loud as soon as you pet it, and it just doesn't stop - the whole throat area vibrates. Sometimes it even chokes a bit because of all the purring: It gasps for air, is silent for 3 seconds and then increases the audible level of purring up to the old point. It can purr for a long time in a row, it just doesn't stop...
After a lot of attention it often wants some quiet time, away from humans. This photo shows Elvis at one of those moments - sitting on top of a desk looking at nothing really. You can't help but wonder if it is perhaps contemplating, pondering the meaning of life, the universe and everything...
