This is a bronze sculpture of Auguste Rodins 'The Thinker', standing outside of the (Detroit Institute of Arts http://www.dia.org/) museum. It measures 198.1 centimeters (78 inches), and it is an original enlargement (1904) of the first version (1880-1882), which measured 71.5 cm/28.1 inches.
