Here you see 1 male Mallard (the brown one). The other 2 are Mallards too, but they don't have the normal brown hiding colours because the species has been mixed with other duck species. Mallards that deviate from the "original" plumage are called /soepeenden/ in Dutch, which translates to *soup ducks*.
