The common grape (Muscari botryoides) hyacinth is a plant with very pretty flowers, that does not require a lot of attention and will cheer up a room instantly. A downside is the fact that it will keep on growing and growing, causing the stems to snap... nothing lasts forever.
On a side note, this is one of the first photographs in which I experimented with selective gaussian blur, to get rid of CCD noise.
