These are some pictures I took with a borrowed Nikon Coolpix 990. It eats batteries for breakfast and it's impossible to get it working under Windows XP, but by using a power cable for indoors + rechargable batteries for outdoors in combination with a wonderful program/library called gPhoto2 I manage to get by ;)
